Our Scholars
This picture captures the essence of the Abramson Scholarship Foundation. Name is one of our Scholars. In order to qualify for an Abramson Scholarship, Name submitted an application that demonstrated his/her academic achievement, financial need and his/her commitment to giving back to the community.
Our Staff
Addy Schmitt is both Chair of the Executive Committee and Chair of the Scholarship Committee. In the latter role, she and her Committee members review applications, interview applicants and, ultimately, identify the Abramson Scholars who, like Name receive the Foundation’s financial and mentoring support.
Our Commitment
Aaron Jenkins is Chair of the Mentoring Committee and, in that capacity oversees those professionals, some young and some seasoned, who volunteer to serve as listeners, advisors, cheerleaders and friends to the Abramson Scholars. He and his mentors help ensure that the Scholars have “someone in their corner” as they negotiate the challenges of college life.
